Vehicle Detail
Original and Rare 1964 Honda CT200 Motorcycle Here we have for sale a very rare and unique 1964 Honda CT200 90cc motorcycle. These CT200's are the first generation of the Trail 90's. You do not see or find these early CT200's, they just are not around nor are they in running condition. This one runs and rides great! The bike is all original besides the new tires, new seat and new battery. The yellow Honda's are super hard to find, and especially in this great original shape! The bike has awesome original paint and the plastics are in good shape with some wear and are impossible to find if they were missing and if you needed to replace. These early bikes have a unique "push rod" style engine with a cast iron head on it. The top end on the engine is much different looking then the 1967 and later Honda CT90 engine. The engine runs well. It starts up quick and idles very nicely. The engine has lots of smooth power for adults to ride around on. It would be a nice little trail bike. The transmission shifts through all 4 gears well. This is the early style bike with the larger rear sprocket that will overlay the smaller sprocket when you go off-roading. You have to add a additional chain links to the chain, which I do not have. The engine side covers have some wear on them but the paint is original on them. I checked and adjusted the valves on them bike. This bike is just a nice rider, the condition is nice, but not perfect, it is original and shows its age. The bike is just special because of its age and historical significance to the Honda history of the 90's. Honda went on to make the Honda CT90 for 16 more years after this bike was built. The paint is in nice shape but it does have some scratches on the front fork, fenders, and swing arm. The seat is a brand new replacement seat that is era correct for the early Honda CT200's. The exhaust pipe is in good shape and not all rotted out like they so often get. The chrome. Is shiny on the pipe itself. The lower exhaust guard on the bike has some scrapes on it. I went through the entire electrical system in the bike and replaced all of the blown bulbs. All of the electrical works, the head light, high and low beams, taillight, horn and dash lights. The handlebars and controls are all original. The grips have some wear on them but the levers are straight and not bent. The cables are in good shape and original to the bike, the original sheathing on them have some cracks. The tires are brand new on the bike, they have a nice tread design for going off road with the bike. The chrome rims are original and have some patina on them but still look good for being so old. Overall it's a really cool old original Honda. It does look good but shows some wear and tear. This bike is rare and hard to find and you won't find another. I do NOT have a title for the bike. It was lost many many years ago, so a bill of sale will be provided to the buyer. Again, I do NOT have a title for the bike. I can store the bike for up to a month so that shipping arrangements can be made. I highly recommend using J&M transport. I have used these guys many times and referred them to many people all with complete satifactory service. They are one of the top rated motorcycle shippers on Uship but if you use them outside of Uship, they will give you a better price. Please contact me for their contact information. I accept cash, cashiers check, or money order as a form of payment. Please ask any and all questions that you may have. My phone number is 775-830-6760. Thank for looking!
