Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 2008 Honda Civic EX Coupe with only approximately 15,200 miles. I'm selling it because my wife just had a baby and the car is too small for us now. However, it's a great opportunity if you want a lightly used, well maintained and reliable, economical Honda Civic. I have all the maintenance records available. Equipment includes: - Automatic transmission - Glass moonroof with slide and tilt function - Velour upholstery - ABS brakes with 4 wheel discs - 1.8 Liter 4 cylinder engine, 4 valves per cylinder - Upgraded factory stereo with CD player - Bridgestone Turanza tires - Aluminum wheels - Driver, passenger and side airbags - Daytime running lights - Rubber mat trunk protector - Automatic door locks - Power windows - Power mirrors - Electric power steering - MPH/KPH speedometer - Ice cold air conditioning - Owner's manual - Maintenance records available (last picture) I bought the car back in 2008, with 600 miles on the clock. It had been involved in a collision and the left front fender, left front wheel, left half-shaft, driver's airbag and left side airbag, left door skin, and radiator were replaced professionally with original Honda parts. The car has been completely reliable since and the only problem it ever gave me was a dead battery (replaced 2 years ago) because somebody left an interior light on before I went on vacation for 2 weeks. Additionally, the car was issued a Florida rebuilt title, which is a pretty thorough process and means the State of Florida inspected it and determined the car was in good shape. It has also been insured by Geico since 2008. Since I've had it, I've run the car with synthetic engine oil and a K&N premium air filter so the engine should be in tip-top shape. My best fuel mileage has been a little over 37 miles per gallon, running at a steady 75-80 MPH on the interstate. For full disclosure, there are a few scratches and a small dent over the passenger door. Everything has been touched up with paint and I went over the car and to the best of my ability couldn't find any rust, which is also to be expected in a Florida car that hasn't seen snow, ice or road salt. The TPMS (tire pressure monitoring) light is on but the tires are correctly inflated, so it's probably a sensor gone bad. I just checked on Amazon and they are selling the set of new sensors for this car for $16. The right-most air vent is broken. It can probably be fixed if you have the patience, or just take it out and put a new one in. The left front fender's fit is not perfect. I included a couple of pictures Finally, the driver's door interior panel has a small crack and something makes a metallic sound if you slam the door. I haven't had time to fix it but a body shop mechanic told me it's a very simple job. So, in conclusion, the car is not cosmetically perfect but it is a lightly used, well maintained and reliable Honda Civic with a lot of life left. The car is also for sale locally and the mileage will vary as the car is being used. I will consider all reasonable offers.
