For sale is our super cool 1972 Super Beetle with roughly 79400 miles on it. It has been a progressive restoration across a few different owners, each doing their part. Custom rims, exhaust, and interior really make this thing pop out going down the road. I was told by the previous owner that the engine had been rebuilt at some point in the recent past, but I have no documentation to support that. As well as it runs, I can believe it though. Recently it has had all new steering components installed including ball joints, tie rods, and (rebuilt) steering box. The tires are almost new with very little signs of wear. Also new air filled shocks were installed last week. Disc brake conversion on the front has also been done along with a freshly rebuilt carburetor last fall. At the same time of the carb rebuild, I did a complete tune up with new plug wires, plugs, points gap adjustment, ignition timing set and valve adjustments, and new valve cover gaskets. It does have a couple of small paint chips here and there and a ding on the front right fender, but all in all, a very solid little bug. No rust underneath… heater boxes are in good shape and blow hot air when its cold. There are a few things that need work, for example the radio is not hooked up, the passenger window regulator needs replaced, and the front vent fan is not included. I never received it with the car and haven't been able to chase one down. Never really needed it either. Only reason we are selling is we bought a bus which fits our family of four a little better. We have had a blast with this little bug and hope that it will find a new loving home. Clear title in hand.
