This 912E has been well cared for it’s entire life and it shows.  As far as I can tell, it’s completely original other than the stereo head unit.  The pictures and videos tell the story.   The car has been in Northern California its whole life and is completely rust free.  Paint is a high quality respray in the original silver color. There are a few blemishes here and there - which I tried to capture on the video.  The only dents are two tiny depressions on the left rear fender area - again I tried to capture these on the walkaround video. The interior is very clean and original with an uncracked dash.  The engine runs smooth and very strong.  The original L-jet FI system is present. The transmission is somewhat tired (see notes below), but I was advised that a rebuild is not needed and that it still has plenty of life left in it.  I’ve had this car for about 4 years and it’s been a joy to own and drive.  I’ve never had a mechanical failure and I’ve been very pro-active with upkeep and maintenance. The car has a clear title and current California registration.  If the car is sold to a CA resident, I will smog the car prior to the sale.  The car comes with the original 14” Fuchs wheels - the tires are about 4 years old with very little wear. I also have a set of 4 16x7 black centered Fuchs (2 sets of SC fronts) with Dunlop 205/55-16 tires that I can include for additional cost.  These are NOT included in the auction sale. You can contact me through eBay or call/text me at 415-843-1849. NOTES: - Transmission will sometimes crunch if it’s been sitting in neutral for a while and then shifted into 1st. To avoid this, I shift from Neutral to second and then to first. See the video - the N->2->1 progression quickly becomes automatic.  - Windshield washer doesn’t spray. - There is a functional thermostat on the car but the cable is not hooked up. This means that the car takes a little longer to come up to normal operating temperature that it would otherwise.  I disconnected it because the cooling flaps would sometimes stick in the closed position. - After it’s closed, the back end of the sunroof remains depressed and must be manually pushed from the inside to make it flush with the roof. - Driver’s seat has a split in the lower cushion (see pictures). - Visors are puffy and the headliner is a bit ratty (see the video).         On Jun-09-16 at 15:41:19 PDT, seller added the following information: I removed the bids from a user whose account had 0 feedback.  I tried to contact the bidder via eBay messaging but didn't hear back - so after waiting 24 hours, I removed the bids.  If you have 0 feedback and would like to bid, please message me so that I know that you are a serious buyer.  Thanks!
