This dune buggy sat in a barn for many years. It was built around 1968 with a 1965 1500 Volkswagen engine. Has a Hurst shifter, early Buick ralley wheels with GM wheel adapters. Titled as a 1965 Volkswagen convertible because the county has no classification for a dune buggy. I replaced the gas tank, replaced the generator with an alternator, rebuilt the carburetor, and rewired it. It runs great now. It has good brakes and new shocks. Wipers, lights, and turn signals work. Odometer shows 48,000 miles, which might be true, but I'm not sure. The emergency brake and horn do not work. Brown metalflake body needs buffed out. It has bows for a top but no top. Tires hold air but aren't great. It can be driven as-is. Selling as-is, where-is. I have too many projects and this one has to go! Buyer is responsible for shipping the car or picking it up.
