OK you RE5 enthusiasts, this blue 1975 Suzuki is the one you've been waiting for. Featured on the cover of the Sept '99 Old Bike Journal, this could be the most perfect and certainly the most lovingly restored bike you'll ever own. That issue included a 4-page article detailing all steps of its restoration process. Restored, inspected, tagged and ridden in 1993 by the current owner, then retired to the garage in 1994. A very rare and collectible motorcycle, the RE5 was in production for only 3 years. The engine was running when stored with no known issues, and now kicks over with compression, and the bike shifts through all gears. The plastic flip-open console cover is intact and entirely functional, but somewhat crazed. The replacement headlight was cracked after restoration, but the original headlight is included and replacement parts are also available. There is a short list of additional included parts that were not needed after the restoration, some of which are quite rare.
