1999 Ford Ranger EV. Factory built as Electric Vehicle, not a conversion. Top speed 75mph. Not a Tesla, but fully electric. No tailpipe. RARE. Why haven't you heard of these? Approximately 1500 vehicles were produced from 1998 to 2001. Unfortunately, most of these trucks were crushed along with the GM EV1 and similar vehicles after their leases expired. Fewer than 400 Ranger EVs remain. This is the only blue one I know of. Batteries are located underneath the truck where you would normally find the motor and transmission. They are not in or under the truck bed like many conversions. New Lead Acid 100 Amp-Hour AGM Batteries were installed and wired. I haven't had the time to finish the project, so the truck has been sitting for over two years. It does not start. If you can restore the batteries, you can drive right away. Otherwise, it's an almost new truck that can be converted to lithium batteries. Price includes the truck, installed batteries (no guaranties), original EVSE, full copy of Ford shop manual, electrical manual, and Ford NGS Tester for EVs. These will not be sold separately, so please don't ask. Truck is basically brand new with 3323 Km on the odometer (2065 miles). Only light scratches on the paint where stuff in the garage fell down.
