Awesome m3 up for grabs Im unfortunately moving to London permanently for work, and it just doesn't make financial sense to bring it with me with shipping and eu spec conversions etc. I have nowhere to keep it, and I wont be back enough to justify $250/month parking or storage... which totally sucks. I have considered quitting over this car, and if you're thinking 'that's dumb', wait til you own this car. :) I bought it about 7 months ago before I knew about my new position at work, and it was love at first sight, and TRUE love at first drive. I have put about 4k miles on it since. I paid $11.5k, but had to replace an abs sensor, and got brand new performance tires about 3 months ago. It also has new brakes. Also replaced a few cosmetic things here and there. So I've invested a few thousand bucks in making this awesome machine even more so. Perfect color combo: white/black with titan shadow trim. Never had any problem whatsoever with this car. It runs like a dream, never once had any issues with the engine. I have left it for 2 weeks now and then when traveling and startup upon return has always been 'instant and healthy' (for lack of a better way to put it), never a cough or studder on ignition, just turn the key and broooom every time. Acceleration is totally smooth and sings then shouts all the way up to 8k, shifting is smooth and solid, clutch feels like new, there's no word for how amazing the handling of this car is.. it's just a pure joy to drive. The guy I bought it from is a retired armed forces pilot, who has babied and cared for the car extremely well since he bought it from his son (who bought the car used when it was a year old), and had it regularly serviced so this car has been very well taken care of throughout its life. Im saying this just to show that this car has never been mistreated and doesnt have a long list of anonymous owners like so many of these cars do, who did god-knows-what to it maintenance/care-wise. What else... Miles are a little high, but I have owned many bmws, and their engines are built to run like the energizer bunny. If you dont neglect them, they will just keep going and going. I had an e36 '94 m3 I sold with 230k on the odometer that I bought at 150-ish, and was always super impressed with the consistency of the engine and the car in general... but this e46 is a whole other story. The engine in particular really feels new, it's so solid. The car was in one minor accident years ago where the front right fender clipped a rogue truck tire on the highway. But there was no structural damage to the car whatsoever, insurance just paid to replace the front fender and it was thus noted as an accident. Exterior is in great condition, a few very small rock chips on the front left, but otherwise in fantastic shape. The xenon headlamps andthe rear LEDs make the car look extra badass. The interior is a bit worn on the wheel and arm rest, but it looks really good for its age. I replaced the trim around the shifter (I planned to slowly buy a piece here and there and replace them over time, but since Im moving it's pretty much uselsess). The car is in really good shape though, and the dash still looks totally new. Premium Harman Kardon sound system, and premium 19 inch wheels: To me anyway, this is the ideal standard for what the e46 m3 should be. Why I'm so sad to let it go.
