1967 Chevrolet C10 Resto Mod Short bed!Over 100 detailed pictures below the description Up for consideration is my 1967 C10 short bed Chevrolet truck. This truck is one of a kind and very unique. The truck is newly built, and turned out amazing! It runs, drives, stops, and steers like new, and is an absolute blast to drive. We have taken this to a few local car shows recently, and it has become an instant hit! Below is a breakdown of the history and restoration that the truck has received, along with any details interested parties need regarding the truck. My name is Jason, and I can be reached at (602)799-2309. Thank you for your interest! Exterior The exterior of the truck began with a super straight AZ rust free body. The truck was very straight and solid to begin with, and has been put back to its original GM "Hawaiian Blue" and white paint scheme. The truck was shot in base coat / clear coat using PPG products including a high solids clear that has been color sanded and buffed to perfection to produce a show worthy shine. The truck then received brand new factory molding trim, brand new factory correct chrome mirrors, bumpers, grille, lenses, HID headlights, door handles, locks, a fiberglass cowl hood, 20 inch wheels and tires, exterior weather stripping, and gaskets, etc. The bed's wheel wells have been professionally mini tubbed to allow for a wide tire application in the rear. The truck bed is lazer straight and has recently received a new Linex spray in bed liner that shines and looks fantastic. The exterior of this truck is stunning, and shows extremely well. Interior The interior and under hood areas have also received fresh paint, show as new, and look amazing. We wanted the truck to look just as good under the hood and inside as it does on the outside. For these areas, the truck was given a slightly updated design with newly recovered / restored door panels, kick panels, seat, carpet, visors, and dash pad all done in a beautiful factory black, and houndstooth design scheme. The seat received brand new foam, springs, and brackets, is firm and very comfortable. The black interior came out fantastic, is brand new, and looks stunning against the trucks paint. Additionally the interior received new door handles, arm rests, Dolphin gauges and bezel, rear view mirror, CPP factory style tilt steering column, sill plates, cd player, cab seals and rubbers. The interior is beautiful, brand new, and of show quality.DrivetrainThe truck has a brand new Summit Racing crate 383 stroker motor that is backed by a newly rebuilt 700r4 automatic transmission. The truck runs and drives like a dream with over 400 HP, and a 12 bolt posi rear end with 373 gearing. The 700r4's overdrive allows for easy and enjoyable highway cruising, shifts flawlessly and effortlessly. The motor has many upgrades including a March Performance complete billet bracket and serpentine belt set up, including a billet power steering reservoir, braided lines, Hooker shorty ceramic coated headers, custom X-pipe dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, Edelbrock aluminum heads, polished performer intake, brand new Edelbrock 650cfm 4 barrel carburetor with electric choke, HEI ignition system, chrome mini starter, 4 core aluminum radiator backed by dual 1800cfm fans that are on relays and keep this monster nice and cool. I have driven the truck all around town here locally in Mesa, AZ. where it is currently over 100 degress out, and the truck stays nice and cool not running past 190 deg. The trucks drivetrain has just over 1300 miles on it, has been broken in professionally, is very reliable, fast, and will not disappoint!Suspension / BrakesThe truck received a professionally lowered suspension with a full Early Classic Industries and CPP lowering system. The truck has been lowered 5 inches up front, and 7 inches in the rear overall. The front is lowered by 2 inch drop springs, accompanied by 3 inch drop spindles, with CPP drop shocks to provide a very smooth ride quality. Out back, the rear received 5 inch drop springs and shocks, as well as 2 inch lowering blocks, and a new CPP extended panhard bar to keep everything in alignment. The rear has been professionally C-notched for extra clearance with a CPP bolt on C-notch kit. Otherwise, the factory frame has not been cut or modified in any way. The truck has a very aggressive and mean stance, that also rides extremely well. The braking system has been upgraded to CPP disc brakes up front, and still retains drums in the rear. A new master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve, and lines have also been added to provide exceptional stopping power. The truck now stops better than it did from the factory.Miscellaneous In addition to the items listed above, the truck has received many additional areas of attention, including the under chassis which has been completely power washed, cleaned, sanded and repainted factory semi gloss black that looks amazing, and is extremely clean. The bed has received a professionally done sprayed in bedliner as well, is the straightest steel bed we have seen in one of these trucks, and shows extremely well. The truck has new dress up engine compartment items such as color matched panels, chrome valve covers, and components, new power steering system, firewall delete plates color matched to provide a smooth look also. All running components are new as well including, fuel pump, oil pump, HEI distributor, plugs, wires, painless wiring harness etc. The truck is extremely reliable, and has been gone through extensively to ensure great driveability and reliability for its new owner.WarrantyThis truck is being sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied.
