1986 Honda VT700

1986 Honda VT 700 for sale. Nice cruiser bike or, with some work, can be turned into a "Cafe Racer" bike.-The bike is not presently running. That is the reason for the low price. -Was running until October2015 before I took in to be serviced. Has dual carburetors and discovered the piston vacuum in each carburetor have to be replaced. I've located couple of sources for the part - one used and another new but in Europe. -Engine has strong compression, the transmission shifts smooth and the tires, are about 18 months old and have about 90-85% of the treads still remaining. Like I said, was running and I was riding it until last October.-However, I don't have the space, the time or the means to fix the bike since I recently purchased a trike.-This bike would make a excellent project bike (needs little work aside from the above mentioned), possibly a "Cafe Racer" or, at the very least, good for parts.- I will consider any reasonable offer close to the asking price. No low ballers, I'm in no rush to sell it.
