It is a sad day for me but it is time to let my dream go.....I have 2 of these, this one was my dream to get back on the highway as it has a perfect original interior. Seats are great as the seat covers shown in the photo have been installed all the time.1952 Desoto Firedome S17 with the 276 ci engine and Tip-Toe transmission.I have the right side stainless trim for rocker panel that is missing and another complete 276 ci Firedome engine, transmission, rearend, steering wheel and column, A arms from another Firedome that I will include in the deal.This car was a one owner from a family in CT who bought it new. It has been parked for many years covered with a tarp which accounts for the perfect interior but sadly, allowed the chrome to become pitted.I bought the car and over the past 3 years I have painfully collected the extra parts planning on an eventual complete restoration. Well, that day will never come. I have another S17 that I drive and keeps me busy, this one needs a new home.This car needed a tune-up when parked. I would not plan on driving it home from my house. It will need to be trailered. I had a company ship it to me from CT to KS, since then I have rolled it around the shed and yard but have not tried to start it yet.The car comes with a bill of sale, no title required on antique vehicles. I do have a box of paperwork from original owners with repair and service histories dating back to the 50's.
