Up for sale is my Mercedes Benz 2009 SLK300. I drove this car through a flooded street as the waters were subsiding and it sucked water into the air intake. The engine will need replacing as it’s Hydro-locked. The water was never over the engine in fact the water didn’t even come up over the door opening and enter the cab. I have spoken to two mechanics and the likelihood of any electronic damage is negligible. I have enclosed pictures to show all the electrical is working and the only problem we can find is the water did hydro-lock the engine. Reconditioned engines for this car with less miles and a one year warranty cost between $3,500 and $4,500. Other than the hydro-locking of the motor this car is in Pristine Condition. Again water never entered the cabin at any time and the interior is in perfect condition. I am selling it “as is” and the winning bidder will be responsible to pick the car up from my house in Boca Raton Florida 33486. It has a clean title that I hold and will not be required to re-title.
