UPDATE:NEW PICTURES REGARDING DENT ON TOP OF CAR AND DOOR,hard to see but about a "quarter" size small dent, not breaking the paint. The Ford Mustang SSP is a lightweight police car package that was based on the Ford Mustang and produced by Ford between 1982-1993. The car was meant to provide a speedier option for police departments in lieu of other full sized (and heavier) sedans on the market at the time. The SSP abbreviation means Special Service Package, a special Fox body Mustang trim made exclusively for law enforcement use. So, this is the chance you have been waiting for, search is end. This is the last model year car with low mileage from Florida Highway patrol. very clean with no modification at all.Drive good , Interior is so clean and nice .typical holes on dash from removed police radio equipment.I was planing to restore the car to original spec but found out I enjoy more by driving it then work on it to make it pretty. I am 76 years old, and I feel it is the time to pass this beauty tor other people to enjoy. if you looking at this car you may know this classic more then I do already , here, I just want to list some what I fixed during the years of my ownership. new pinion bering rear end, new master cylinder and the trunk is carpeted ,new water pump, air conditional system,....too many to list ...I had over 10 grand invest in this car.So no problem to restore the car to perfect show car (it has the potential and half way through already) or use as daily drive , you will enjoy it for sure. the GAS CAN in the trunk are issued by FHP , will go with the car, full size spare come with the car.both shift nobs in the pic (original and pistol grip) will go with the car too. yes, the car has towing hitch installed best time to reach me are 10am to 1pm at 678-308-8700, remember, I am an older man, need a lot of nap time.... pls feel free to ask any questions and happy bidding
