Vehicle Detail
I have a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country limited. Low miles 65,320. I just put over $1400.00 in the automatic power door, replaced the cable from the crappy dealer ones, to a special one made by Kelsey Mobility. New door motor. VMI conversion, power in floor ramp. It has diamond steel plate flooring, not carpet to get all screwed up from power chairs. Sun roof, leather seats, power windows, power seat. This van has some cosmetic issues, reflected in the low price. The sun roof leaked, so I have it sealed shut. The head liner could be replaced. There is some damage to the driver side of the back bumper (pic), and the molding below the drivers door, (pic). Both are plastic, or fiberglass, not metal. Also small dents around the vehicle. It has wheel chair tie downs. It is a silver blue color. Check engine light is on, for small vacuum leak, I took it in, they said they fixed it, but the light came back on, could even be from the gas cap. It runs great, had a $400 tune up about 18 months ago. Hardly driven it since. Transmission is great. No running problems. It does have airbag light on. I was told it was the clock spring, so I paid a few hundred to fix that, shop said the old one was bad,put the new one in, but still has airbag light on, maybe bad air bag itself. Van has sensors in tires for low tire, one or more of them must need replaced, as a light comes on about them. So if you can't afford a nice handicap van, this one should run for years, just has cosmetic issues.
