Up for auction is my 1978 chevy c10 I bought this truck from a man in houston texas who told me he aquired it from the original owner making this a 3 owner texas vehicle Always turns heads and gets alot of compliments! This truck has had lots of new parts and some tasteful modification truck starts right up with a functioning automatic choke runs drives stops and handles great ENGINE -IT has the original 4 bolt main 4 barrel 350 small block engine and turbo 350 transmission which are both in good working condition -I added late model (center bolt)cylinder heads with a fresh valve job and seals which have larger valves and a higher compression ratio then the original smog heads -262 mild mannerd camshaft , will idle in gear once warm(ran for a few minutes from dead cold) and has never stalled in traffic or anything of the sort -Procomp polished dual plane intake -Rebuilt original quadrajet carburator converted to electric choke which is intact and functioning -Flowmaster 40 series muffler with turn down -New: fuel lines, fuel pump, gas cap, alternator, power steering pump,thermostat and billet housing, radiator, timing chain/gears/cover, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, chrome air cleaner, pcv, chrome crank case breather Body/Suspension: paint is 2 years old and by no means a show car finish but a very presentable cruiser Body is straight and was shaved of all trim, handles, badges,drip rails, custom molded in roll pan for functionality i left the bed stakes, door handles on and mounting holes for sport mirrors if you so pleased to add them (also room behind the license plate for a reciver hitch) - New cragar 17" soft 8 steel wheels with new chrome lugs and center caps lowered 5 inches in the rear with a flip kit and shock relocators with new shocks lowered 3 inches up front with lowering springs -New halo headlights -New billet grill -New euro tail lights -New bullet type led license plate lights Interior: New billet steering wheel original functioning unmolested am radio all gages work and lenses are clear dash pad has a single crack in the center carpet is in good shape door pannels are bed linered the seams in the seat are starting to seperate on the drivers side back rest rear window gun rack manual hand crank windows and manual locks Flaws: paint has some bubbles on the front of the hood as pictured as well as the bottom of the passenger side fender, no ac, no heat, has some minor oil leaks as all nearly 40 year old vehicles do would take very little to turn this into a show truck ask all questions before bidding, sold as is i am willing to hold the truck for a short amount of time to allow you to arrange transport if you are buying out of state HAPPY BIDDING!!!!
