This is an absolutely stunning, all original, unrestored example of the iconic, sought after and highly appreciating 1976 Honda CB400F Super Sport. This motorcycle is worthy of any collection. The bike was purchased from the original owner June 13th, 1981. The bike has been part of a motorcycle collection and stored indoors in a climate controlled environment. The motorcycle was intentionally preserved in it's low mileage and original condition. The Light Ruby Red paintwork is in nearly flawless shiny condition, showing a couple of pits/chips and some very light surface marks.The fuel tank looks brand new inside !!! The black side covers are in equally excellent condition. The chrome and metal surfaces are in excellent condition, showing no signs of pitting or oxidation. There are a couple of very light surface scratches in the chrome on the front fender. The plastic and rubber elements on the bike are all in near perfect condition, I noted that the shift linkage rubber boot had a small split in it. It comes with original tool kit and owners manual. This is by far the nicest all original CB400F Super Sport we have seen outside of a museum. The Honda has a new battery in it, spins over on the starter button and all electrical works as it should. The decision has been made to NOT fill the tank and carburetors with fuel and run the bike as the purchaser may put the motorcycle back into a collection. Bid with Confidence !!!
