1978 Jeep cherokee 401, th400 Quadra trac. 1 family owned. I have the original window sticker and various other paper work my father received when he purchased this jeep in 1978. It has been lifted with 6" BJ's springs, j-20 axles w/ 4:09 gearsand 37" military good years have been added. it has a poly gas tank, I have an original gauge pod with the correct silver machine spun surround. the original AM Radio, the original 4bbl intake and carb, I have the rear window glass, rear window motor, I have the front bumper ,I have 3 extra doors that will go with it and a set of rear wide track flares that need work. It runs and drives but needs work to be street legal. It hasn't been on the road since 06. It has been in a few accidents over the years so it has some dents and dings here and there, the only major rust is in the drivers floor pan. everything else is pretty much surface rust. I have been holding off on selling it for sentemental reasons, but I just don't have time for it and think I need to pass it on. It starts right up, The 4wd works and it has the optional low range on the quadra trac t-case. The 401 has a edelbrock manifold with a edelbrock 4bbl. I removed the a/c but have most if not all of the parts. It needs exhaust work, it has a magnaflow 2 into 1 rigged up to keep it tolerable for the neighbors when I fire it up. It needs shocks etc. so again it not something you can expect to drive home.
