This car is in fully functioning and driving condition, reliable enough to take on any distance road trip. It has been nicely cared for and remarkably well preserved, also carefully restored a couple of years ago. It is rare to see such a timeless vehicle in a beautiful condition. Typically they are either over-restored, turned into race cars or simply left as basket cases. Here we have a rarely seen example that has been looked after and repaired along as needed. It isn't a perfect concourse winner... But sooo clean. It is a proper 45 year old Beamer with a very strong body (look at the pictures) coated by a shiny 2 year old paint, and is such a great cruiser. The unibody structure is rock solid. Only 96,973 actual Miles, which amount to less than 2,200 miles a year! This particular example was built in 1971, still equipped with its original 1,990cc (2 Liters engine ~ The head was entirely rebuilt less than 2 years ago) coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission. The original pattern interior and trim are in very good original condition, lest for short tears on the driver’s seat bottom (these are the only flaws). This BMW indeed feels like a new car.
