Up for auction is a 1969 Camaro Indy 500 Pace Car I purchased the car in 2011 with every intention of completing a full restoration. I trailered it home and here it's sat for the past 5 years. I may have put a total of 20 miles on it in those 5 years. Overall condition is quite good, but not Perfect. Very minor surface rust here and there. Hard to see unless you're less than a foot away. Trunk pan is perfect, no rust. Floors appear solid, no rust found or holes from underneath. Paint is average, looks great from 10 feet. A few areas where it's either chipped or has been touched up. My guess, it was painted perhaps 20 years ago. Engine is not the original motor and Idles rough / low, may just need a tune up or Carb adjust. I do have the original 350 Block, goes with the sale. Muncie 4 Speed trans. One Ear broken. A replacement Muncie 4 speed is included in the sale. 12 Bolt Posi rear. Interior is in good shape. Door panels and carpet show their age. Top is in good condition, no tears or rips. Most important, the Header Bow, is solid, zero rust. Power Top, option works but should be flushed out and re-filled. This is a good, solid car to build on. Header Panel, has a Ding in it. May be possible to repair, A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the completed auction.
