I have for sale my 92 cr 500. I bought the bike from the original owner. Old skool dude. Met him at our race track a few years back when he showed up with a 1985 cr 500. I was like holly s_it. He was 67 at the time. Any who. We met at the track for years and I was ridding a 87 cr 500. He knew I loved these bikes and after years of telling him I wanted him to call me when he was ready to sell his bikes he did. Here is one of them. Unreal the condition when I bought it. Rear shock is crazy. Im almost 6 ft. tall and im on my tip toes holding the bike up. Firm like stock. Motor was ready for a top end rebuild. Low compression after 16 years. Had stock Honda piston still in the jug. Installed wiseco piston, rings and gaskets. Fired right up. Bad ass motor. Crank was perfect. No play. No crank bearing noise. So left alone. Case has never been opened. Rebuilt carb. Stock jets. New air filter. All new chain sliders. Renthal sprocket and chain. New handlebars, clutch lever, brake lever, kill switch. hand grips, front and rear tires, front fender and rear fender and seat cover. Maybe an hour of break in time on top end. Needs more. Here is my opinion for new buyers: Not for kids or puzzies. You breathe on the throttle your front tire is 5 feet in the air. If you kick it, you better wear a boot or you will break that twig you call a leg. Yes, its a 2 stroke so you will be mixing gas and kicking 4 stroke azz. These bikes aren't made anymore just like women that cook and clean so like the women that cook and clean this bike must be chained up every night. No title, bill of sale.
