Our Cortina is a rust free California car as solid as they come. The Cortina was originally Burgundy and is disassembled and ready for restoration or conversion to a mock Lotus Cortina track beast with a Duratec and Mazda 6 speed? The car includes many original parts as well as a new adjustable coil over front suspension (presently installed) with vented rotors and adjustable arms. The seats are not original to the car but we have been told they are the original type. The car retains its original WIPAC headlamp assemblies and tail lamps, as well as the factory header, exhaust and trans mount. Sadly the drivetrain, side trim, gauges, trunk lock, and windscreen moldings have gone missing. We do have access to a Crossflow engine and transmission as well as a fresh crate Duratec and Mazda 6 speed with engine mount kit. Neither drive train is included in the sale of this vehicle. This is a great opportunity to own a solid rare Cortina. These cars are easy to work on, are very robust and you won't see another one at the local car cruise. We would paint the car in the Lotus scheme or make it into a UK-style rally car. These cars are a great platform and finding a rust free example like this is a rare bird. NOTE-The car will come with a bill of sale. There is no title to this vehicle.
