1974 BMW SI 3.0 Sedan. One pretty car and in complete condition. I thought this would make a great driver but I have to many projects and everyone who want this car lives far away. So I'm starting it auction style and cheap. POSITIVE SIDE.What it has going for it. Its a California car that's been in LA all its life away from the beach. NO RUST ANYWHERE. Glass is great. Stainless is great. Trim other than grille is in great shape. Door panels and wood in decent restorable consition. Engine turns. Oil Clean. FUEL injected! Its Complete!!! And its the most expensive production BMW made that year available in the states. The Bumper rubber is in great shape. This car has been off the road since 1991 and dry stored.. I have a clear bill of sale. But since I was'nt keeping the car I didn't re-title it. The DMV gave me the proper paper work and says its no big deal. Negatives. Whats not so great. Previous owner was not very kind to the car and some where blew a transmission seal and parked the car. dad thought himself crafty (he Was'nt) and took the driveshaft off the car thinking he would drop the transmission and replace the seal himself. He got as far as taking the driveshaft off and then parking it in a garage that was used by him a Hoarder to store everything from toilets and furniture in and around the car.. Interior there but rear seat replaced from another BMW Other wise interior is original So the car has minor dings and scrapes . The car waxed up nice as you can see but could use the works.. Car sat so long that the brakes froze.. It does roll but with help from the flat bed tow truck. PLUS SIDE.. all the electrics work.. Has a complete set of the ralley wheels and comes with a few extra parts including dash instruments and outer fender lenses. I'm starting this at $500.00 no reserve. Ive had many inquires regarding a buy it now price but awaiting offers. Again the car does not currently run because the driveshaft and tranny are disengaged. This was a one owner car driven by a young lady Hard when new and her father attempted the repair and abandoned it to the garage where it sat covered since 1991.
