Vehicle Detail

1969 Chevrolet C10 Custom Patina / Shop truck!Over 50 detailed pictures below the description Up for consideration is my 1969 C10 short bed Chevrolet truck. This truck is one of a kind and very unique. The truck is newly built, and turned out amazing! It runs, drives, stops, and steers like new, and is an absolute blast to drive. We have taken this to a few local car shows recently, and has become an instant hit! Below is a breakdown of the history and restoration that the truck has received, along with any details interested parties need regarding the truck. I own the shop that built this truck, and can answer any questions interested bidders may have, so please don't hesitate to call, text, or email me at any time. My name is Jason, and I can be reached at (602)799-2309. Thank you for your interest! Exterior The exterior of the truck began with a super straight AZ rust free truck. The plan was to give the truck a laser straight body, and put it back to its original trim design, with its original GM code 511 (Teal Metallic) paint, with a professionally done "faux patina" paint scheme. We started with the correct factory based sealers over the body, custom tinted to create a realistic wear pattern through the PPG base coat we applied on top. After the factory base color was applied, many meticulous hours of perfecting a realistic looking patina on the truck began. After the process and look we were going for was achieved, the truck received three coats of high solids PPG satin clear coat to seal in the entire process, give it a realistic sheen, and protect the trucks exterior for years to come. The end result looks amazing, is laser straight, and is very unique. After paint, the original grille, and trim on the truck was cleaned, restored, and put back on the truck to complete the look. The truck has new front and rear chrome bumpers, hardware, and brackets as well. All glass is original, and in perfect shape. New period correct side mirrors were added, as well as new tail light, headlight, and turn signal buckets / lenses. Interior The interior underwent the complete reverse process of the exterior. For the interior, and under hood areas, our plan was to restore the truck to a show quality design. We wanted the truck to look like a weathered patina truck on the exterior, but look and feel like a fully restored show truck on the inside. For these areas, the truck received the factory color it came with, and three coats of PPG high solids clear coat. The original interior was given a slightly updated design with newly recovered / restored door panels, kick panels, seat, carpet, visors, and dash pad all done in a beautiful camel tan vinyl that truly looks stunning against the trucks original color. Additionally the interior received new door handles, arm rests, gauge bezel, rear view mirror, CPP factory style tilt steering column, sill plates, cab seals and rubbers. The interior is beautiful, and of show quality. Drivetrain The truck has a recently rebuilt 350 motor with custom heads, competition cam, and Holly 750cfm 4 barrel carburetor that runs strong and fires right up with ease. The motor is backed by a freshly rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission that shifts tight and flawlessly. The truck received a one piece driveshaft, and is driven by its factory 12 bolt rear end. The truck retains its factory exhaust manifolds, with an upgraded dual flowmaster exhaust that sounds fantastic! All lines, seals, gaskets, hoses, fluids, etc. are brand new. The truck runs and drives like a dream. Suspension / Brakes The truck received a professionally lowered suspension with a full Mcgaughty's lowering system. The overall lowering of the truck is 5 inches up front, and 6 inches in the rear. The front is lowered by 2 inch drop springs, accompanied by 3 inch drop spindles, with CPP drop shocks to provide a very smooth ride quality. Out back, the rear received 4 inch drop springs and shocks, as well as 2 inch lowering blocks as well. The factory frame has not been cut or modified in any way with a C-notch. The truck has a very aggressive and mean stance, that also rides extremely well. The braking system has been upgraded to CPP disc brakes up front, and still retains drums in the rear. A new CPP master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve, and lines have also been added. The truck now stops better than it did from the factory. Miscellaneous In addition to the items listed above, the truck has received many additional areas of attention, including the under chassis which has been completely power washed, cleaned, sanded and repainted factory semi gloss black that looks amazing, and is extremely clean. The bed has received a roll on / spray in bedliner as well, has a few little dings here and there, but is the straightest steel bed we have seen in one of these trucks, and shows extremely well. The truck has new dress up engine compartment items such as color matched panels, chrome valve covers, and components, new power steering system, firewall delete plates color matched to provide a smooth look also. All running components are new as well including, fuel pump, oil pump, HEI distributor, plugs, wires, etc. The truck is extremely reliable, and has been gone through extensively to ensure great driveability and reliability for its new owner. Warranty This truck is being sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. All sales are final.
