VERY NICE SOLID SOUTHERN TRUCK 1979 FORD F150 CUSTOM STEPSIDE 4X4 RESTORATION COMPLETED IN 1997 BY ORIGINAL OWNER. ONLY 7000 MILES SINCE RESTORED. Truck is 1 of 1349 that came with these paint and trim codes. TRUCK CAME WITH: TILT STEERING POWER STEERING POWER BRAKES AIR CONDITIONING (Will need repairs and converting) 3.50 TRACTION-LOK REAR AXLE LIMITED SLIP FRONT AXLE SLIDING REAR GLASS CUSTOM BED COVER (cover is missing a few snaps and has a small tear in back corner) DEALER ADD ON CRUISE CONTROL (currently not working) DEALER ADDED HEAVY DUTY BUMPERS WARNER WINCH AM/FM/CD RADIO WITH REMOTE SOLID ROCKERS, CAB CORNERS, CAB MOUNTS AND FLOORS, FRONT FENDERS AND REAR QUARTERS!!! TRUCK IS VERY STRAIGHT AND SOLID! DOORS CLOSE WELL AND BODY HAS GOOD GAPS. Truck sold new in Mobile, Alabama at Trovinger Ford on October 27, 1979 to MacKinnon Paper Company. In 1982 it was sold to Thomas MacKinnon (owner of the paper company) for $1 dollar. Paperwork and receipts from this transaction are included. He owned the truck until his death in 2008. It was left to a close friend who kept it for 8 years and only put 7000 miles on it. Truck currently has 114,418 miles on it. When restoration was completed in 1997 it had 106,731 miles on it. Underside of truck is in good, solid condition. Undercoated when truck was purchased new. Truck comes with two file folders full of receipts from all maintenance and restoration. Truck runs and drives great, no engine noise or smoke. Transmission shifts well! Steering has a very small amount of play in it. Truck rides well and straight. Truck was stripped to metal and repainted. Paint still shines very well; it does have a few paint chips and scratches. Interior is in great condition! Very nice! New seat cover, headliner and carpet.
