Up for sale is this 1980 Volkswagen Rabbit. Super rare Mountain Green with the silver rabbit stripes and a factory roof rack. It has 44xxx original miles that go up daily as we love to drive this car. Was owned by a university professor as his daily commuter the whole 2 miles to work and back home! It is a little crusty from living most its life in snowy, road salty Iowa. Has a completely overhauled fuel system, aftermarket Borla exhaust, freshly powder coated original steel wheels, Euro bumpers (front is not mounted as we love the bumperless look), new speakers and lowered coil-over shocks. Rides quite nicely and gets tons of nods everywhere we go. Has won a couple of awards at car shows even. The interior is near perfect with the only blemish being a cracked dash as you can see in the photos. Mechanically quite sound. Small exhaust leak at the manifold, but a new aftermarket header is included in the sale. Also included are the build sheet we found under the seat and all the original parts (suspension, bumpers, speakers, etc.) in case you want to go back all original.
