This is very rare 1965 Dodge Power Wagon W500 crew cab. There were very few of the W500 2 ton 4x4 trucks produced and just a hand full were crew cabs. Its hard to even find pics of these trucks, much less find one for sale. This truck is in good shape but needs some love. It started life as a utility truck for the city of Colorado Springs before finding its way to a ranch in Leadville Colorado. It spend the rest of its time plowing snow on the ranch. The previous owner acquired the truck with the ranch when he bought the property 17 years ago. It runs and drives, but will need some work to be reliable. I have been driving it a few miles here and there and using it here on the place. Runs good but needs a tune. The brakes work, but the master cylinder is bad and needs replaced. The throw out bearing complains sometimes also. Tires have tons of tread and hold air but are not good for the road. The previous owner put a new transfer case in at one point as well as a clutch. Other wise it is all original. It has dings and dents, one rear running board is missing, and a rear door handle needs some work (the handle is in the glovebox). The bed is wood with diamond plate steel over it. The truck can stay here at my place as long as you need so shipping can be arranged.
