Amazing bike that has been owned by the original owner since June 1975. The bike is a very fine example of the Honda CB550 with its original paint, original engine and original exhaust. The owner told me that he purchased the bike new and the dealer installed this seat and also a sissy bar (which I have) that has the same green pattern on it. Very period correct indeed. The bike starts and runs. The tank looks like new inside. The chrome exhaust is very nice with one small repair on the top of the right pipe. The tires are almost new and very good. The battery is new. I went through this bike and polished it and cleaned the bike up but quite honestly it did not need much. The spokes have no rust. The lights all work too. The bike also comes with the original tool kit under the seat as well as the original air box, air filter and the plastic tool kit holder under the seat. The chrome certainly is deserving of good mention as is the condition of the paint. You be your own judge I guess by looking at the 24 large over sized pictures I have spent extra money to post.
