This bike is amazing,not museum quality but an unmolested 72 Honda CB750 in a very rare color(Briar Brown) I just did a mild restoration which included Carbs rebuilt,new petcock and fuel hoses,new gel battery,rebuilt front brake caliper,oil,plugs,points. The bike does have a few tiny chips on the fuel tank(see pic) and the tank has dull spots on both sides from the original owners jeans rubbing against the tank(I think they might buff out?)There are some specs of rust on the outside of rims. The pipes are original HM341s and they are in really really nice condition!! The bike sounds great and all electrics work fine. She starts up with very little choke and runs great. The seat is original and in like new condition. I have a clear title that says 1973,this bike was purchased from the original owner in early 73 and that is why the title states 1973,the bike was clearly built in 1972 and even the vin tag states 1972. Plus 1972 is the only year with the extra button right below the horn button used to silent the blinker beeper(see pic) I just want to be totally honest about the bike and that also includes the title stating its a 1973. These pics were taken 22 hours ago. The bike could be cleaner but my back is not what it used to be so my killer detailing jobs are a thing of the past.
