Vehicle Detail
We here at STA have a affinity for Toyotas. Along with our partners at Jones Auto Sales, we have created over the years we are in a position to import some of our favorites models. We have had recent request to source low entry vehicles for individuals interested in a project. This vehicle is titled in Alabama. Please feel free to contact us with any question. 706.577.6605 ask for Rory Carter, or visit us at staimports.com P.S. Sorry for the repost. The item was taken down for the lack of a vin plate picture. 1985 Toyota BJ75 Troop Carrier (Troopy)Model: BJ75Engine: 3B 3.4LVin: JT1V0BJ7509000237 (eBay does not recognize the vin on imported non us-spec vehicles) Below you find an example of a low entry Toyota Troopy. This vehicle has the 3B motor that runs great. There is no A/C, only forced air bought in from outside the vehicle. It does have heat, and is equipped with a rear bench seat that has access to heat and forced cold air The paint is in fair condition. The vehicle has recently received a respray with some trim pieces being accented with a little red overspray. There are spots of rust on the bottom edge of the cab, with majority focused on the transmission crossmember part #51202-60110. All lights and gauges work. Transmission shift well but 5th gear is temperamental, wanting to come out of gear when off the accelerator. This truck is a great project vehicle for the 4x4 enthusiast or as is on the farm. It has recently had new rear shoes installed, exhaust, rear drum seals and lines, shifter seat and bushing. My mechanic has put 300 miles on this Troopy with the only issue being 5th gear. It starts right up after a cold nights, and doesn't have any fits in stand still traffic. This troopy is ready for a new home.
