Vehicle Detail
1928 Ford Model A roadster Selling our 28 Roadster that is a proven daily driver and needs nothing. Car is an all steel Henry Ford Body and deck lid, with Steel 32 grill. Body has been insulated with sound deadener and drives almost like a new car with no rattles or shakes. Doors open and close nice and tight as it should with no rattles or having to slam shut. This 28 was taken on "The Great Race" from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to San Rafael, California from June 26-July 8th in 2006. The roadster had two issues in Ohio with a synchro in the transmission going out and a broken shock absorber bracket. All fixed and was back on the road in the race. With over 100 participants, the 28 finished in 65th place. There are links online documented this event and couple pictures below of the race. Motor runs strong and has good compression on all cylinders and does not smoke. The 39 top loader transmission shifts well and has no issues with gears popping out as this sometimes happens from wear and tear. All lights work, headlights/hi-beam, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals and gauges. There is a speedometer that works on steering column, oil pressure gauge working and a temp gauges that works as well. Located on the seat pan tray there is an Amp meter that works along with a cigarette lighter so you can plug your phone in to charge. Roadster was made to be a safe and comfortable driver. If I could give a warranty with this and not be taking advantage of I would without hesitation. I'm sure we are forgetting something, please ask if you have any questions. For sale locally and may end auction if agreed price has been met. Car is currently registered as a 1929 Ford Model A with a clean California title in hand. YOM plates registered to the car and title. Plates will stay with car if sold in California only.
