This is a 2005 Suzuki GSXR 1000 with 2,500 original miles. No tricks or games, this is the real deal.... No disappointments with this bike. It has not been ridden much as the mileage indicates (a little over 200 miles per year). This bike is practically new. (Also selling my K5 1000 Black and Yellow see item # 272136134438. Has some slight mods only has 5,186 original miles)This bike is, and always has been bone stock, no modifications (except tank protector, trickle charge connector to preserve battery when stored), so no need to worry about any butchered wires, tasteless add-ons, etc... Also, there were two safety recalls for the K5 GSXR 1000 (1) Reinforcement Frame Brace and (2) Front Brake Master Cylinder.... These were both completed on this bike in November of 2014If you are not familiar with the GSXR 1000, do your research. The K5/K6 GSX-R 1000's are considered the best liter bikes built by Suzuki (Yes, even better than newer models). I KNOW this is one of the best GSXR's available for sale...period!! Bike has NOT been on a track, NEVER been down and ALWAYS meticulously maintained.Winner of auction will receive brand new Michelin Pilot rear tire that I bought but never installed.Will help with shipping if necessary (meaning will drop off to nearest shipper, packaging, handling and shipping will be your responsibility) or you can pick up in person. Bike is located in the Frederick Maryland area.Note: The white stuff on tires & rims in some pics is frozen liquid soap. I washed bike and took pics when it was bitterly cold.
