I purchased this bike due to an obsession from High School. The guy I bought it from kicked it twice and it started. I brought it home and started buying the parts that obviously needed to be replaced. I haven't obtained all the parts, but do have quite a few. My wife thinks that having four motorcycles is a bit much. What does she know? Anyway, I think that my interest was more in satisfying an old obsession, than actually restoring this bike. I am driving a new CB1100, and just think that 250cc's might be a little small for me. Anyway, here is a list of the parts I have: New front fender (never mounted) new speedo cable, used fork boots, new air boot springs, used brake and shift pedals, used original cables, new speedo retainer grommet, new air filters, used pillion brackets, new tank badges, new neutral light boot, new oil filter o ring, new fuel line clips, new cable clip, new steering damper cushion, new front and rear fuel tank cushions, new side cover bumpers, new air filter tubes, used skid plate. I also have a couple of restoration guides, and a copy of the shop manual. Might be a couple of other items around that I would include. Mileage is not correct. I have no way of knowing correct mileage. The bike was spray painted with rattle can. The seat trim is cracked in places and I haven't purchased a right mirror. It grieves me to think about giving it up. I really loved the sound of these early bikes. The pictures show the "snuff-of-nots" that allow you to really bother your neighbors (or not). If you are into restoring vintage bikes, here is a great candidate. Please don't buy this to part out.
