1988 Honda Goldwing GL1500 This is a very nice Goldwing I have for sell. I am the 2nd owner of this bike. And it has always been garage kept. I bought it from the original owner approx. 2 years ago. And did not care for the factory gray color. ( That was on just about every 1988 Goldwing ) So I took it apart to paint it...but did not stop there. Being a builder of street rods for over 25 years I just had to do it all. So took it to the frame and cleaned and painted everything. The paint is a custom color ( Red Pearl Lacquer ) I replaced all of the original emblems except the one on the taillight. Added lots of chrome. And updated the front of the bike with new 2000 model parts. ( So by appearance this bike looks to be a 2000 model ) Also added LED lights to the saddlebags, New chrome rotor covers with amber ring of fire, Trunk spoiler, Lower saddlebag extension, trailer hitch, Air wings, Kuryakyn grips, Chrome radio cover, Custom seat with embroidered goldwing insignia ( Embroidery Matches Paint Color ), backrest, 4 New Infinity waterproof speakers ( 2 front & 2 rear ), Power accessories port in left dash pocket, New factory ( Honda ) mufflers, Back-off brake light controller, 10 disc CD player with dash ( and remote ) controls. And this list just goes on and on ( see pictures ). Bike runs perfect and has great tires, new battery. Upgrades and paint was done 1 1/2 year ago. This bike is the fully loaded model with reverse, AM/FM cassette player with front to rear fader control, CB with front and rear controls, And cruise control all factory installed. Now for what is not perfect. There is a small crack in the fiberglass above the CB. ( They actually make a chrome cover that would cover this spot ) And the windshield vent lever does not work ( has to be moved manually ) That is it.....otherwise the bike is excellent. The only reason this bike is for sell is that I bought a new bike 5 months ago and don't need 2 bikes.
