1947 Cadillac 4-dr. very solid, 99% rust-free, I have installed new standard size pistons and piston rings, rebuilt fuel pump, cleaned out the carburetor, wheel cylinders rebuilt, four very nice sombrero wheel covers, front and rear bumpers and bumper guards have been replated recently. I have also replated the grille, the hood ornament, the center hood strip, the trunk ornament, and several of the body side moldings to the tune of $3,500 in new chrome plating. Recent battery, recent starter rebuild, recent generator rebuild, engine has been degreased and painted the correct dark green color, turns over easily and fires but will not run. Needs a valve job, but I am out of garage space and so this one must be sold and moved by March 1st to make room. Interior door panels, carpet, headliner and upholstery are original and you can see the two torn spots in the driver's seat. Floors are rock solid inside the car and in the trunk, including the spare tire well. All doors, trunk and hood line up nicely and close with ease, like a vault. I don't think the car has ever been wrecked and I cannot find any filler in the body, other than for a few door dings. All glass is good, no cracked glass, no bubbled glass. Odometer shows 88,000 miles and I believe that is the correct mileage. I do have a clear, open title signed by the previous owner, buyer's name to be filled in. I have a new muffler and exhaust system for it, not installed yet but goes with the car, and I have the square windshield washer bottle. The radio is missing, one fender skirt is missing, and one fog light is damaged beyond repair, but I will include it with the car. The car has Hydra-Matic transmission and manual windows, 346 cubic inch V8, not currently running, but does turn over and tries to run. It will have to be hauled, or I can take it to Houston, Texas for overseas buyers, for an additional $500. All of the tires stay up and the car rolls.
