Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE I am selling this awesome rare Z-code 390 4V T-Bird Special package 1966 Fairlane for a friend. I have been restoring Mustangs, Fairlanes and Cougars since the 1970’s. This is the nicest Fairlane I have seen in over 35 years body wise. This car is all original with only 56000 original miles. I have personally looked this car over. This Fairlane has absolutely NO rust anywhere and has no metal or body work ever. The floor pans and trunk area are perfect. I wanted to put the car on a lift the day we were taking pictures, but ran out of time. The car has all the original bumpers and stainless all in nice driver condition. The car had one repaint since new and while it’s not a show car it is very presentable. The interior is extremely nice for its age and the dash pad is perfect. It is so hard to find an original dash pad with a good speaker grill. I own a 1966 GTA with 60000 original miles and thought mine was nice, but the body is nicer on this car than my own. This car has always been garage kept since day 1. I encourage anyone to come look at the car before the auction ends and there is nothing to hide on this car. I can’t stress enough how nice the body is. Along with the sale of this car is some original documentation as seen in the pictures. He has the original bill of sale, factory owner’s manual with a few other things. The car is located off interstate 81 in Martinsburg WV. Please no tire kickers. I am a busy person, but I will answer questions only to serious buyers. If your looking for a nice Fairlane look no further this is it. The previous owner rebuilt the motor and transmission. The C-6 was rebuilt as a street strip transmission with a new converter at a cost of 1,889.00 he has the receipt from that job. The motor and transmission has less than a 1000 miles on it since rebuild. The engine was bored .030 completely rebuilt with new aluminum heads, chrome headers, new dual exhaust, new carb, new Edelbrock intake, new distributer, new Edelbrock water pump, new brake lines, new brake cyls on front and rear end was rebuilt with new 3:50 gear set. Everything works on this Fairlane as it should. One more thing the owner has all the original parts from motor to put everything back original if next owner wanted to. He has heads, intake etc. It’s my understanding the previous owner had over 10,000 in the motor. This car sounds good and runs great. Has new more modern camshaft and the owner has the cam card with specs.
