Selling our 56 Chevy Big Window Truck. We purchased the truck from the original owners family where it had been on a ranch truck most of its life and then moved to the city. Truck is all original, original factory paint, original motor that was gone through with 3 speed transmission on the column. Clutch / throw out bearing was replaced in 2000. Push button start on the floor. 12 volt. Factory rear end with stock gearing that helps the truck do around 50mph down the highway. Body is forest green from the factory, has couple dings and dents from over the years. Floors and cab corners are solid. Bed sides are in good shape for being original farm truck, wood slats have been removed but the original metal strips are still in bed. The wood bed sides that are in the stake pockets come off easy. Interior of truck is nice, dash in uncut and has no issues. Speedometer cable is not hooked up as it was noisy but all other gauges are in working order. Horn works, wipers work, choke cable works as it should. Glass is in nice shape with no cracks in any windows. Door glass rolls up and down easy. Vent windows open and close easy. All lights, headlights, tail lights and dash lights work. Factory wiring that is still in decent condition with no fraying or splices. Has Factory heater still hooked up and working, just needs new switch to go under dash. Seat have been installed when the bench seat was re upholstered. Turn signal switch on steering column works with all front and rear lights. Brakes work fine with firm brake pedal. Emergency brake works also. Wheels are stock 15" steelies with bias ply tires that show some age but still drive well around town. *Comes with extra rear passenger fender with matching original green paint, original speedometer cluster, extra rear fender, Mechanical manual, and more misc parts California black commercial black plates that match title since 1963 California title with matching VIN number on frame rail, door tag and also on title.
