Vehicle Detail

Rare 1975 International Harvester Travelall 150 4x4 This is the last model for the IHC Travelall. This truck can pull anything, very powerful and has been used in Death Valley and other National Parks for years as a very reliable vehicle with extra insulation for cooling inside. This truck is a highway legal off road vehicle used for camping and desert exploration. Not a show queen...She is set up for off road adventures and family fun! Able to tow just about anything you could want. Long wheel based vehicle. Is there "rust or dents"? Of course there is...this truck is 40 years old. However, what rust/dents present does not structurally affect the vehicle. If you are looking for a "rust free/dent free" truck, this won't work for you. A section of the top headliner is missing, the headliner in the truck would need to be redone to hide the factory double insulation. Anti-theft starting system for the vehicle...it has a manual choke and you prime the truck and toggle switch the ignition. Not difficult to do, but nobody trying to steal the truck will figure it out. The hood is bent on the right side and has had a metal plate with nuts & bolts to repait (see pictures). Almost all the emblems & trim are on the truck. Before any major trips I would give it a major once over, bleed fuel lines and clean out anything built up over not driving it awhile, change the oil, give it a major tune-up, you will need to change a battery cable as it works but won't attached well to battery right now, check all fluid levels...simply make sure everything is "road ready". It has only been driven 450 or so in the last year and 5 miles in the last 3 months. Truck Specs: * Color: Black with white roof -- * IH 392CUI (original engine) Improved cooling 392 -- * Edelbrock 4 barrel 650 cfm * 727 Torque Flight Transmission (redone in 2012 in Southrn California) -- * Divorce Transfer Case -- * Dana 60 rear with Detroit Locker (original) -- * Dana 44 front with Detroit Locker (original) * Custom made Stanz Headers -- * Custom Dual flow master exhaust -- * Electric radiator fan * Truck was originally equipped with factory A/C (needs compressor, hoses from compressor & system recharge to work again) * New rear axle bearing -- * After market gauges and tack -- * Limo Tint (all windows, except driver/passenger front) -- *a couple of small chips in the front windshield, lots of minor ones....nothing major * Original factory interior (bucket front seats - folding bench back seat) -- * All seats are in good condition (drivers seat is worn) -- * Rubber interior floor lining -- * Electric rear tailgate window (works) * Custom offset Eagle Alloy rims (made specifically for this truck) -- * Tires 31" - Mickey Thompson - Baja ATZ p3 (custom sniped by the Mickey Thompson offroad racing team) only 450 miles used on these tires! * Complete Tow Package -- * Functional Original Roof Rack -- * After market off road/fog lights -- * Normally the truck has two fuel tanks, I only have the one front tank operational at this time (I do not have the second tank) * Original Line setting ticket from the factory (comes with the truck) * Some spare parts will come with this truck * Custom CB radio (need a speaker)The odometer reads 10, 252 and is currently "inop" - I utilize a Garmin GPS for speed & distance when I drive the truck (that does not go with the sale of this truck)The driver side window is "inop" and will not roll up or down manually...there is a bracket that is needed to repair it.The truck has not been driven for many months and needs a battery. It is being sold as-is / where is. Unless you bring a battery to start it, we will not be test driving it. Due to monetary issues, I simply can't do what I wanted with this rare combination of truck and I have to release it to somebody else to enjoy. It has a CLEAR title and the 2016 tags were just put on the truck. This is a beast, it's rusty, it has lots of dents...but it could be alot of fun for the right family! This would be a great truck for somebody that likes to tinker with vehicles, slowly but surely put this truck back to good condition. IHC Travelalls can be very valuable when restored properly. This truck will require lots of work I have put many pictures online for you, I am not trying to blow sunshine up anybody's skirt on condition...the truck could be great for somebody willing to put the time/money/effort into it -- Please ask any/all questions before bidding...I will do my best to answer
