Vehicle Detail
2006 PT Cruiser with approximately 124,600 miles (occasionally driven to the mailbox so mileage may be a little different). Car has some dents on driver side near headlamp and tail lamp (see pictures), as well as some stains on the interior (have not attempted to shampoo it, so they may come out). Very roomy, fold down seats in the rear. We have owned this car for almost 2 years, and just do not need it anymore due to a new vehicle purchase. This car runs great, and had it timing belt and water pump replace less than 10,000 miles ago. KNOWN ISSUES: Occasionally does not start - do not know if this is a starter, WCM, transmission interlock switch or ???? I have not brought it in to have it looked at, as we have not driven it much since September when we got our other vehicle. On occasion the radio volume increases for no apparent reason - a restart of the car seems to take care of it. For sale locally as well, so listing may be removed at my discretion. Buyer pays $250 deposit within 48 hours of auction close, remainder in cash at time of pick-up. Clear AZ title in hand. Buyer responsible for picking up the vehicle as I will not coordinate shipping. *** EDITED 25 JANUARY TO ADD PHOTOS - for some reason photos did not post with the scheduled posting On Jan-26-16 at 17:44:00 PST, seller added the following information: EDITED 26 JANUARY TO ADD PHOTOS of tires (tread) and engine compartment as requested via email. On Jan-30-16 at 05:32:05 PST, seller added the following information: EDIT 30 JANUARY: A couple of emails came in asking about "What do you do when it does not start?" My answer is "nothing" - car was used around town and a school/work commuter for my daughter. It did not start once when she was in town (work), so we picked her up on our way home from work and it started the next day; twice it did not start while in the driveway so we just tried again a couple of days later and it started. Googling this problem shows that some of the issues I stated in the "KNOWN ISSUES" paragraph are usually the culprit, however as this became an "extra" car for us, I had no need to pursue troubleshooting further.
