Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Classic 1983 Jeep CJ7 Renegade Laredo Complete redo on the interior with new seats, carpeting, knobs, heater, padded roll bar, and so on. 129,000 original miles, engine runs strong and is a numbers matching engine. I’ve had the jeep up to 82mph on the freeway and have towed it at speeds close to 90mph with no problems. Suspension is very strong without any issues. Complete reseal on the undercarriage to the transmission, transfer case, rear differential seals and u-joints. Tires are BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A radials, 30x9.50x15LT with average 12/32nds left on these nearly new tires. Classic original Laredo package with chrome rims and Jeep caps, chrome grill, oversize gas tank, and chrome strips below the doors. Go anywhere, do anything with this one. Has had one repaint that I know of with small bubbles on L side, but the metal is solid. 9000# winch on the front works perfectly and the tow bar is ready for hunting season or behind your motor home. The 5sp transmission means solid highway speeds without over revving the engine. Gas mileage for me is about 19.5mpg. Missing Laredo stuff: The seats are new therefore not original leather, missing the chrome bumperettes (who cares), and the steering column was replaced by the previous owner so no tilt wheel. Comes with three tops: new bimini, a bikini and of course the hard top w/hard side doors Selling because I don’t drive it anymore; it just sits. Contact me with any additional questions. 480-twothreesix-5-two-5five And Please, I do not need help selling. It will sell itself. The Jeep is being sold locally so I may stop the auction early if a legitimate offer is accepted. Thank you for understanding Information on the VIN # 1JCCN87E5DT010914 1-USA J-Jeep C-MPV C-258 cu in (4.2 L) AMC I6 99.4 PS (73 kW; 98 hp), 261 N·m (193 lb·ft) N-5sp 87-CJ7 E = 4,150 lbs GVW Dana 30 Front wide track (1982–1986) 2-Piece AMC 20 Wide track rear (1982–1986) D-1983 T = Toledo (SSN) 010914 (From the book on CJ’s) The CJ-7 was also available in Renegade and an upgraded Laredo model. Noticeable by their different body decals, the Laredo model featured high-back leather bucket seats, a tilting steering wheel and an elaborate chrome package that included the bumpers, front grille, and mirrors. An optional Trak-Lok differential was available for the rear. Rear axle ratio typically 3.54, but later went up to 2.73. Other Laredo distinguishing parts: Chrome grill w/black pin striping (still some left) No windshield tie-downs on the hood (factory hard top) Factory chrome Jeep rims Chrome windshield wiper cover on dash (I have one, but it doesn't fit well. I think it’s an aftermarket part) Optional Factory molded hardtop, and steel doors
