PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION This is a nice driving Mini I purchased for my daughter. Tires and brakes are in good shape, heated seats, new battery, aftermarket stereo cd player, power moon roof. The driver seat does not recline. The CVT transmission belt failed. I purchased a new belt and rebuild kit as shown in the pictures. Disassembled the trans installed new belt, clutches and seals. I am not a transmission rebuilder but I am handy. Now the car drives fine once you are moving. However, 25% of the time more or less when you are stopped and go to accelerate the transmission engages late and jerks (does not creep). Then other times it works fine. Also, the gear indicator on the dash shows EP rather than the gear it is in. I am not sure if the problem is electrical, programming or if the trans needs to come back out. I have not had it diagnosed by dealer or trans shop. I purchased a new Nissan sentra for her as a Christmas present and no longer need this one. The car may be viewed by contacting me and is located in Montville NJ.
