Its time to sell our Mercedes. This was my wife’s daily driver for the past year and has proved to be quite good and reliable. Wife is now buying a new Fiat 500, so the Mercedes has to go. The car is very well taken care of and loved. If you are looking for a W115, it would be hard to find a better one for the price. We went through the receipts for the past 10 years or so, and the total came out to over $13000, including a complete engine rebuild at a cost of $4600. Many parts have been replaced recently, including new tires, all new brakes, etc. Car is very original, never any rust, body and interior in beautiful condition, with only minor scuffs and scratches in the paint consistent with the age of the car. Dash and steering wheel are beautiful, no cracks. The glass is all good, windshield is new and both front and rear glass seals were replaced. Electrical system is functioning as it should, including all gauges, heater, wipers, etc. The car starts with a flick of a key every time, even after sitting for days. All locks work. Desirable floor-shift auto transmission option and sunroof. The engine is strong, transmission shifts smoothly, brakes stop on a dime. This car loves to cruise! It would make a decent reliable daily driver. This is a 44 year old classic car. It does have a few quirks, namely an intermittent resonance in the rear muffler, and a lumpy idle when cold. Sunroof handle has cracked, needs repair or replacement. But the sunroof works well and doesn’t leak. True mileage is unknown, speedometer has been replaced, but it doesn’t have too many miles, judging by the overall condition. Sold as-is, where is with no reserve. Clean title on hand, ready for ownership transfer or export. Inspections prior to auction end are welcome and encouraged. The car is located near I-5 and I-90, 10 min from SeaTac airport.
