Vehicle Detail
Hi there! You are bidding on my 2000 Audi A6 Quattro Avant Sedan. This car drives great, is super comfortable and is fully loaded with awesome features, including heated leather seats, moonroof, Tiptronic transmission, alloy wheels, premium sound system, on-board computer, and much more! I just got a newer Audi, so I have to let this one go. Low miles for it's age, it should give someone years of good service (I drove my last Audi well past 200K). There are a few minor issues, as you would expect from a vehicle of this age (see below), but overall it's in great shape. The car is located in Bennington, VT, and you are welcome to come and pick it up here. Alternatively, I'm happy to help you arrange shipping, or I'd be willing to drive it up to 100 miles to meet you, which gets it to Albany, or halfway to Boston or New York! Bid with confidence with my 100% positive feedback rating and 16+ years of eBay experience. Here's your chance to get a great deal on a great car in this No Reserve auction! Great condition for a vehicle of it's age. Exterior is in great condition with the exception of a couple of cracks on the rear bumper, slight gap between the nose and body where they meet on the sides, and several minor scratches (most of which are not noticeable). Interior is in great shape except for a minor tear in the driver's seat (see pics). The car runs and drives great, the engine purrs, the transmission is smooth, and the handling is tight. I recently replaced the exhaust system from the mufflers forward, and used Bosch O2 sensors which appear not to communicate properly with the ECU, since it says there's a problem with the O2 sensors, causing the check engine light to come on intermittently. However, the O2 sensors are brand new and it runs great. You might troubleshoot that, but it hasn't been a problem for me. All of the features (heat, AC, stereo, windows, etc.) work the way they should. The computer screen on the dash is missing some pixels, but is readable. Finally, the tread on the tires is pretty worn, you will probably want to replace them soon. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking! Good luck!!On Jan-15-16 at 07:34:39 PST, seller added the following information: Just got pictures of the interior up here (finally!). Sorry it took a bit, was waiting for a sunny day, but I guess it's just going to stay gray for awhile! While I was prepping for the pics, I noticed/thought of a few things about the car which I thought I should share. The driver's door closing mechanism sticks occasionally. I spray a bit of WD-40 into the mechanism and it works fine again, but I do have to do that every so often. The windshield washer fluid light stays on, even after I add washer fluid. One of the knobs on the passenger power seat control is missing. Also, the little chrome colored piece of plastic under the drivers side headlamp is broken. I priced it at $18, and it looks like it just pops in, but I haven't had a chance to do it. And... the good news! We've got snow here, and the treads on the tires were really bad, so I got 4 good, slightly used all-season tires and had them balanced and mounted on the car. The tread life on the new tires looks to be at least 80% so they should last you quite a while! Thanks and good luck!!
