j_chilberta1sm Store Auctiva's FREE Scrolling Gallery will enhance your listings. Increase traffic to your listing with Auctiva's FREE Scrolling Gal She's A Solid, Pretty Complete, Early MK VII Project needing total restoration *** This engine and gearbox will fit your XK 120, 140 or early 150 car *** This was a two owner Jaguar, purchased in California and brought to New Jersey in 1958 with a clean 1958 New Jersey title. Matching number 3.4 Liter 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission. I have the cylinders soaking in oil at this time and might try to get her running later, bypassing the fuel system. This MK VII has the rare optional (crank handle) bucket seats (no picnic trays), and an unusual Brooklands?, banjo steering wheel. A lot of surface rust, but straight and solid (surface rust) with good interior wood, not rotted or damaged. *** Remember, This Jaguar Is 60+ Years Old, I'm Sure If You Look Close Enough, You Will Find Some Small Blemishes And Slight Imperfections *** I have a very large file of additional pictures, showing much more of the undersides, interior, trunk area and engine bay, that I can e-mail you if I get your direct e-mail address. Call Joe at 609-518-0878 with any questions and request any additional pictures you may need, prior to bidding. I reserve the right to end the listing early, as it is advertised elsewhere and is for sale locally. This car is located in Mt. Holly, NJ 08060 and I welcome your inspection. A $1000 deposit is required within 24 hours at the end of the auction (PayPal). The balance of the funds by cash if possible, but a wire transfer will work and must clear prior to pick-up. I will assist with shipping but the buyer is responsible for pickup and all related cost. Sold as is where is. On Jan-09-16 at 11:16:41 PST, seller added the following information: Jan. 9th, To answer a eBayer's question: I hooked up my jump box today, the headlamps & fog lamps are working. The right front fender lamp (top) and left rear tail lamp are out, the other opposed two lights were lit. The turn signals, horn or the wipers did not work. The Amp gauge had life. I did not try to clean any connections or check the bulbs. There is a fuse missing (1of4) in the fuse block, I switched a fuse around but no changes. The starter operated from the push button on the dash, but just spins, the bendix drive is not engaging. The radiator is just sitting ,not secured, in the engine compartment and the grill is now in the back seat. I put a socket on the crank pulley and could easily turn the engine, but only for a very slight amount. It is not seized, but I did not want to force anything. I am not sure if it is the started drive or something else preventing it from turning a complete revolution? The pistons in the carburetors move freely, but I did notice the linkage is stuck / frozen from sitting. There was no money in the glove box... film at 11:00 Please, If you have concerns about the lights working on this car... I'm pretty sure this Jag is not for you. Regards, Jersey Joe
