1970 Honda CB450K3 Super Sport You have just found a very rare bike. It is number 408 in the production line run for the K3! VIN: CB450-4000408. manufacture Date: 11/69. I found this bike here in Michigan sitting in a garage, not being ridden but the bike was a complete vintage time capsule. The owner had parked the bike about 10 years ago and drained all the fuel out of it so the tank is pristine inside. He told me the bike ran great but he lost interest in riding. The bike is so complete that it still has the original tool kit tucked away inside the tool kit container. It even has the battery cover, battery rubber strap and the original battery. So, I put a charger on the battery and juiced it and sprayed some fuel in each cylinder and the bike fired right up. These old Honda's never cease to amaze me. The fuel tank and sie covers on the bike are almost MINT. The paint is not faded. This Blue/Green Candy color was the 1 color that did not have fading issues. There are NO dents in the tank or side covers!!! The exhaust pipes are solid. No holes. Some surface rust as you would expect. The tires are not weather checked although I recommend always replacing old tires on any vehicle if you are planning on road driving. The engine is the original engine to this bike too.
