LAST CHANCE to buy this car!! I've lowered my price so up for sale is a very rare survivor collector Mopar. It is an original 1971 RoadRunner high Impact FY1 Lemon Twist Yellow, matching numbers 340, Slap Stick Automatic, Black Stripe, factory A/C car. It is 1 of only 1245 340 road runners built. The factory high impact FY1 paint only makes it rarer.. And for the folks living in a warmer climate and actually want to enjoy it, it has factory A/C. Interior condition:The interior is completely original and exceptionally nice aside from someone replacing the factory black carpet with orange.. a 70's thing?? carpet and the front bucket seats will need recovered. The back seat and headliner are in excellent condition. The door panels are also nice. The original radio is in the car and the console, glove box, ash tray etc are all mint. Exterior condition:Its had one repaint. Front core support, frame rails and floor pans are nice, original and look to be in excellent untouched condition. The only cancer I can see is a spot in the lower driver rocker (shown) but other than that it only has some minor surface rust showing in a few areas. It is a very solid car. It has a brand new set of BF Goodrich radial tires (P295 rear P225 front) on new aftermarket wheel vintique 15x8 and 15x7 Rally wheels. Drivetrain:The car last ran over 15 years ago but the transmission went out so its been sitting in a garage every since. The original matching numbers 340 turned over freely by hand. The transmission that comes with the car will need to be rebuilt and is not number matching to the car. I have the original torque converter. It has the factory front disc brakes and they do work. The rearend is the factory 8-3/4 with Sure-grip 3:91 gears. I believe that if a person cleaned the fuel tank, carburetor and obviously rebuilt the transmission they would have a nice rare driver. The interior just needs a carpet kit and the front seat skins replaced and it will be very nice. Drive it while you save up to paint it if you want...
