1973 Ford Ranchero GT, First let me say I am selling it for the wife of a friend of mine who passed away this month, and I will describe it the best I can. It was his dad's Ranchero that he had bought around 1981. My friend got it from his mom when the dad passed away several years ago. He made it pretty nice, but it sat for the last year because he was sick. He did start it every month, but when I started it the other day it ran a little rough. I'm sure it needs a tune-up and fresh gas and it should be good to go. The Ranchero has a 351 Cleveland, 600cfm Holley, C6 transmission, and 9 inch rear. Has newer dual exhaust that sounds great. Not sure of the miles but it runs fine with no smoke or oil consumption.The mileage on the car is around 95,000 on the car. I am guessing because the car is at my house, but it is around there. I know he had the transmission rebuilt sometime after he got it. PS/PB/AC car. Tires are decent and has the old style Keystone wheels with a little rust. Not my favorite but I would put more attractive wheels on it. The AC needs charged but was working and is complete. The original 351 Cobra Jet engine was pulled at 83,000 miles and is complete. I was told it ran but was being preserved since it was a Cobra Jet Engine. It is complete with a shaker hood, shaker air cleaner, and an extra C4 transmission. I honestly don't know the condition of the extra motor and transmission but they look good and have been garage kept. It also has a fiberglass cab for the back which you never see! If the price goes over $3500.00 all the extra parts will be included. If not the car will be sold as is without the extra parts.The Ranchero has never been wrecked and would be a great collectors car. The interior is extra clean and looks new except one seam split on the driver's side. The engine compartment is also very clean with an all original look. Like I said above, it does need paint. My friend was going to ask $5300.00 for it before the cancer got aggressive and he couldn't drive anymore. He never got it on the market and it sat pretty much the last year. Note, please read: I told his wife I would list it for her so she would not have to deal with it. She is ready for it to sell so here is the deal. It has a clear title in her name and I will make sure it is ready to ship. If it goes over $3500.00 all the extra parts will be put in the back and the Fiberglass canopy put back on for shipping. If it does not go over $3500.00, you will only get the Ranchero with the canopy. No extra parts will be included! I will make sure it is ready for your shipper when they arrive. Check my feedback. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, but I will make sure it is ready to go on this end. It is a pretty decent Ranchero and I would buy it myself if I didn't have nine cars already.
