Vehicle Detail
1975 DODGE DART SPORTNO RESERVE Thanks for checking out my 1975 Dodge Dart Sport, dressed in Plum Crazy Purple. This car has a great look, and topped off with white rally strips down the sides really sets it off. I got this car from some very nice folks over in eastern Oregon, it was her pride and joy, she loved Purple, and wears something purple herself everyday. So when she found this Dart Sport wearing Purple inside and out, it was a keeper. They had it for a number of years, but unfortunately, due to some major health concerns she was not able to drive he beloved Dart anymore. I hope to find a very good home for this Dart, someone who will love it as much as she did. The nice thing about his car, is it is a nice clean car, not an overdone show car, but a nice driver, that someone can hop in and enjoy right now. It is a great entry level classic car, that you can enjoy, not everyone has $20-40K to put into a classic car, someone will be very happy with this one, because basically you can enjoy it right now, and do minor upgrades as you go. If you are interested in a Buy it Now price let me know, or if you have questions, give me a call, would be glad to help. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Thanks, Jason 503-910-2085Condition: The paint is in nice shape, has a very nice shine to it, when you look down the sides it looks pretty nice as well. There are a few small chips on the car in various places that have been touched up, I would say the paint was about 10 years old. I have a small bottle of touch up paint for future chips for you. I like the paint on it perosnally, it looks nice and uniform, hard to do with metallic especially Plum Crazy. All the door jams were redone, the car was originally a gold color, I will got with Plum Crazy Purple everyday of the week over gold. Anyways, the stripes are nice going down the sides of the car. It is not a high dollar show paint, but it looks great, and you will have fun taking it to car shows, and local cruise ins, no one will pick it apart there, everyone always gives me a thumbs up when they see it, and just smile. There are a few blisters in the paint, the worst of it is behind the rear passenger side behind the wheel on the lower quarter, and extends toward the bumper, one small spot above the bumper on quarter as well. A couple other small areas on the car, pretty minor but there, look through the pictures, and I show a lot of the small flaws it has, but he quarter is the worst of it. Myself, would I fix it right away, probably not, I would just drive it and enjoy it, and maybe convert the car to a V8 down the road. The trim on the car is in good shape, if you want a show car then you might upgrade trim and such. The front bumper and rear bumper could use new chrome down the road if you wanted. Overall exterior wise, very nice looking car, that will turn heads. Mechanically the car seems in very good shape. The engine is a 225 inline six, these engine are bullet proof, and I have seen a lot of people actually build these little engines and get great performance out of them, it all depends what you want to do. The engine starts right up, and idles very good, just your basic stock 225, been upgraded with Offenhauser Finned Aluminum valve cover. No signs of any major oil leaks, very clean, does not burn oil, just a nice smooth running little 225. The transmission is a AT, and it shifts good, brakes work good as well. It originally had AC on it, everything is there, besides the pump and a few things to hook it up, but you could get these parts, and have AC back in the car pretty easy. The rear end has a little seepage out of the housing, nothing hits the floor but it is damp. The wheels look great, old school Cragars fit it really well. The front tires are in good shape, but it could use rear tires in the near future, on has very little tread, other wise wheels look great. All the exterior lights are working, even the back up lights. This is the type of car you could fly in and drive it home, it would be much cheaper to ship it, but if you like adventures, I would not hesitate driving it, with that said it is 40 year old car.The interior is in nice shape, not perfect but very clean. The seats look really nice, material just really sets off the look with the purple inserts. No rips or tears in the seats, very little wear. The door panels are in good shape overall, but the bottoms, have black duct tape on them, hard to see in the photos, but the edge gave away at the bottom, so they were reinforced with tape, honestly you have to look pretty close to notice. New door panels would be nice, but not sure if I would replace them at this point because the tape is hidden pretty well since it is black. The dash pad is in decent shape, no perfect but looks good. Steering wheel is in nice condition. It has a upgraded AM/FM CD/MP3 radio, which works great, new speakers etc. The gauges all work, notice as well, there is a small crack in the gauge bezel next to column. The headliner is missing in the car, so it needs replaced. Overall the interior is very usable, and you can do small upgrades here and there as time allows, but nothing major that needs to be done right away. It is smoke free, carpet looks good in the car. Take a look at the photos and you will get a good idea of what it is. No signs of any major accidents, the inner fenders, and aprons all look very good. Inside the trunk, and inner quarters are very clean. The trunk floor is in nice condition, no rust. The floors on this car are in great shape, no rust or repairs. The rockers look nice, a couple small bubbles, and one rust spot on the bottom side, you can see it in the photos on my lift, right in form of the rear lift arm, you can see a little spot, again, nothing I would fix right away. All and all this car has very good bones, and looks very nice. Something that you can enjoy and show right away. I have been selling classic cars here on eBay since 2003, 12 years now, with around 600 classic cars sold over the internet. What I love about these old cars, is that I get to own some of my favorite cars one at a time, I have turned this passion into a business, but for me it is an awesome time to enjoy the cars themselves. It has been such a joy to do business with people all over the world. I have sold multiple cars to many buyers all over from Europe, Dubai, Australia, Japan, Brazil, just to name a few. It has always been a pleasure, getting to know other car enthusiast all over the Continent, especially some that have become very good friends of mine because of our love for cars. I look forward to doing business here on ebay for many years to come, and look forward to meeting some other like minded classic car nuts like myself. If you would like to call me and talk about the car, that would be great, would love to help you out, if you want to call and talk about cars, it would be my pleasure, I am on the hunt for any Interesting classics, odd ball and unique vehicles. Please, come out and personally take a look at it in person, or send a friend or inspector, or transporter, always better if possible to see it with your own eyes, I am close to major airport, and easy to get to. These are classic vehicles, with lots of history, almost years old, so they are used, not perfect, they don’t have warranties, or guarantees, they are as is, where is, nothing else is promised, I can’t possibly explain every little thing about a vehicle in writing, believe me I've tried, lol, seeing in person is always best, I try to give an good description, and normally over 100 photos at least, so you can get a good gauge of what it is, and isn’t.
