This truck has been in the family for more than 40 years. Passed down from my dad to me, I drove it for many years on weekends and when I felt like burning rubber in the streets. It's a family heirloom that we must now sell. Up for your consideration is a rare 56 Chevy pickup. Could be a street rod or restoration project.Known as a 3100 step side pick up. Chevy pickups from the 50s are always sought after for their robust designsand their distinct styling. This old work horse has been great through the years and fast as lightning. It was running when parked but haven't tried to start in a while. It has been in my family for more than 40 years and garaged for the last 15 years. I drove it on weekends and when I felt like burning rubber in the streets. It was built by my dad with short block 350. It has been a part of the family, like an heirloom. I have pictures standing by it in diapers. This ole truck means a lot. The dream was to keep it and hand it down through generations. It has some minor dents, rust, wooden bed needs replacing. All the things you would expect from an old vehicle. I planed to restore it some day but with recent life changes it seems unlikely that I will ever have the time or resources to do so.The photos tell the story as you can see, it just needs a new home and someone who can bring it back to glory days.
