1970 Corvette Stingray Car has been in one family since 1970 52000 original miles Runs and drives excellent. Engine runs smooth, transmission shifts properly, steering is tight. All new brakes, rotors and master cylinder. wipers and headlights operate properly AM/FM radio works but needs a new antennae clock and tach and one front speaker do not work. paint is shiny with a couple blemish spots, one near driver door and the other behind right front tire. On Dec-20-15 at 16:02:38 PST, seller added the following information: This stingray was purchased new by my uncle in 1970, He was a successful orthodontist and a cool confirmed bachelor and kept his cars at his Lake Michigan home in southwest Michigan. He passed 3 years ago at 94 years old. The vette is the original donnybrook green color and he had the gold flake stripe added along with clear coating the entire car back in the mid 70's. The vette was in storage the most of the last 20 years. It was stored properly and with fuel, engine and trans oil and radiator fluid flush and a new battery, the car started right up. Within the first months all 4 brakes and the master cylinder were leaking and needed to be replace with genuine gm period correct parts. The vette runs straight, idles and revs up strong, doesn't smoke and stops as it should. The wipers work and the headlights pop up and down. The parking brake, tack and clock no longer work and only one speaker of the am/fm stereo works. The dash and interior look good, no cracks or rips, the heater coil leaked inside the car and was also replaced 3 years ago. The Top comes off as well as the rear window. Both side windows roll up and down properly the doors close solid as does the hood. We just clicked over 52000 miles this fall.
