1990 Nissan 300ZX – NO RESERVE BARN FIND This is a rare opportunity to own an early Z32 generation 300ZX. With a production date of May 1989, it is one of the first 5% manual cars produced. This example is complete and an unmolested coupe with the naturally aspirated 3.0L DOHC VG30DE V6 paired with the 5-speed RS5R30A manual gearbox, which shifts smoothly through all gears. This particular car boasts of a very clean and damage-free interior with excellent condition tan leather sport seats. The pictures do not do this interior justice. The interior needs nothing more than a good cleaning to set it apart from most other cars from this era. The paint is original and generally in good condition with the exception of two areas, the rear hatch and the passenger side door, with surface rust. All body panels are straight and there is no structural rust. There are other flaws as seen in the pictures but no significant bodywork is required. The t-tops (original bag included under the rear hatch) are in good condition and the power windows work. The cabin is free of leaks. With 164,750 miles, the motor pulls strong. The gas tank was drained and new fuel was added along with the installation of a new fuel pump. The injectors do require cleaning or possible replacement to make it run. it will start and run on starting fluid. Although this car should be considered a project, it is not major by any means. It won’t take much to return this car to its previous glory and provide a dependable drivable classic. These Z32s are just starting to increase in value and this is a terrific opportunity to claim an affordable yet complete and original example.
